Projects

Follow this link to see details of a few of the projects that Father Joe and others are supporting and encouraging.

Mivumoni

The name comes from the Mivumo trees (or African Fan Palms) that grow abundantly around the village. Although they cast welcome shade, the trunks have a swelling which is hollow, rendering the trees useless for timber, and the fruit is inedible. But the sound of the breeze rustling through them on a sultry evening...

Please note that this site is still under development, so you'll find placeholders all over the place. I'm working on it!

Why?.

I have had the good fortune to visit Mivumoni a number of times on the back of business trips to Kenya.

Through Father Joe I have discovered that there are many people in the UK supporting Mivumoni in different ways, and yet others who want to know more.
